Respiratory Care Services provides both diagnostic studies and respiratory care for inpatients and outpatients. Registered and certified respiratory care practitioners provide all therapeutic procedures including inhaled medications, postural drainage, airway care and oxygen therapy. The department and the medical staff treat patients with acute and chronic diseases, post-surgical patients, chest trauma and coronary disease among othersAbout The Career:
Performs all procedures of clinical area, including respiratory care consults, RT procedures, vent management, bedside diagnostics. Assist with out-patient diagnostics as needed. Uses RT protocols and MD orders for therapy procedures and ventilator management.All About You :
Education:
Graduate of AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy. Registered Respiratory Therapist by theNBRC. BLS, ALCS
required on hire. PALS and NRP required within 9 months of hire.Training & Experience:
Current, competent and basic knowledge of intensive care and neonatal intensive care including EKG, ABG, spirometry, and oximetry. Team player, compassionate, detail oriented, strong communication skills, patience, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal supervision.What We Offer:
