III NICU

background for a night shift position at a 426-bed acute care hospital within the Yale New Haven Health System. Details Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System Level II Trauma Center Works primarily in a Level

III NICU

with rotation through additional units including Pediatric areas as census and staffing needs require Floating between two campuses (Bridgeport and Milford) is expected Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required Charting via Epic Free parking available Requirements Current BLS certification required CRT or RRT credential required State respiratory therapy license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience required Prior travel assignment experience required Level

III NICU

experience required Level I Trauma Center experience required Proficiency with neonatal oscillating ventilators required Dräger ventilator experience required Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators preferred 1 reference required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this position Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved; any RTO requests submitted after offer acceptance will not be approved Travelers may be asked to orient students or new hires as needed Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
