Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional care and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic clinical environment. Schedule/Hours:
7:00 pm - 7:30 am shifts Every other weekend (EOW) required
Qualifications:
Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work well within interdisciplinary teams Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital settings beneficial
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapies for patients of varying acuity, including neonates if credentialed Monitor, evaluate, and record treatment effectiveness while adjusting plans as needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols Respond efficiently to respiratory emergencies and participate in code situations Educate patients and families on therapies, procedures, and respiratory health as appropriate
