Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required Demonstrated competency in respiratory care modalities and protocols Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Proven experience working with diverse patient populations across various acuity levels Strong assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to excel both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective respiratory therapy interventions for patients of all ages Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other advanced respiratory treatments Perform assessments and collaborate in the development of individualized care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory management and therapies Accurately document interventions, responses, and patient outcomes Uphold infection control policies and maintain equipment per hospital standards
