Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule:
Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Required Qualifications/Experience:
Must reside at least 50 miles from Washington, DC Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license Active
ACLS & BLS
certifications Minimum two years of experience as an RRT Demonstrated experience working in pediatric, NICU, and adult ER/critical care settings
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory care per physician orders across the continuum of care Conduct diagnostic evaluations and analyze physiological data related to the cardiopulmonary system Perform and interpret tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system Manage and educate patients with a variety of respiratory deficiencies Apply and monitor medical gases, ventilatory support, and artificial airway care Oversee bronchopulmonary hygiene and administer pharmacological agents related to respiratory care Engage in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and provide hemodynamic cardiovascular support
