Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Florida (or eligibility) BLS and ACLS certifications (as required) Proven clinical skills with experience in acute and critical care settings preferred Excellent interpersonal communication and adaptability
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen equipment, and other respiratory devices Respond to emergency situations requiring rapid and accurate intervention Perform diagnostic tests and report findings to physicians Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and post-therapy care
