Desired Qualifications:
Current, valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state license (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Familiarity with ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory equipment BLS and ACLS certifications preferred Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to therapies Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff regarding care plans Manage and maintain respiratory therapy equipment Provide patient and family education Uphold safety and infection control standards at all times
