Why BayCare? BayCare HomeCare-Extended Care is the premiere provider of contracted services for nursing homes in the communities we serve. The Extended Care team currently contracts Respiratory Therapy programming with 91 nursing homes in 9 counties. As one of the largest providers of home care services in the State of Florida, BayCare HomeCare has provided quality home care to Florida residents since 1976.

No The Respiratory Care Practitioner service patients in their home/contracted facility by providing either clinical respiratory services or equipment management services on a scheduled visit/appointment or through on-call notification.
Responsibilities:
Completing day to day orders called into the Respiratory Therapy Department and follow up on visits for apnea monitor and or ventilator patients, in compliance with all regulatory agencies. Education of patient and caregivers regarding set up, use, maintenance and safety of respiratory therapy equipment in the home. Performs diagnostic testing on behalf of the physician. Communication with the patient's physician regarding clarification of orders or the patient's response to care may be required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Certifications and Licensures Required:
RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) OR CRT welcomed for review Active NBRC Credential for
RRT BLS Active Drivers License Education Required:
Technical Respiratory Therapy Associate's Respiratory Therapy Specific Skills Required:
