Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role providing exceptional respiratory care at a leading healthcare facility, working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to patient well-being. Schedule:
13-week assignment Night shifts, 3x12 hours per weekQualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Active Florida Respiratory Care License Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS strongly preferred if available College diploma or formal transcripts (must be uploaded upon application) Only non-local candidates considered (not residing in Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties)Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments following physician orders Assess and monitor patient respiratory status, collaborating closely with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes Administer and manage ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and other advanced interventions Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and promote compliance with prescribed therapies Accurately document treatments and patient responses in the medical recordDesired Experience:
Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is highly valued Demonstrated ability to respond effectively in urgent or emergent respiratory situations Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Enjoy working in a reputable facility where your expertise is recognized as vital to patient care.
