Required Qualifications:
Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid licensure to practice respiratory therapy BLS and ACLS certification Strong communication and clinical assessment skills Previous acute care or hospital respiratory experience is highly desirable Adaptable and detail-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy to patients across various age groups Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests Manage ventilator care and respiratory interventions in both emergency and routine settings Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Document treatments, progress, and response in electronic health records Educate patients and families about respiratory care plans and preventive strategies
