Required Experience and Credentials:
Valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current
BLS, ACLS
certifications (as required) At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care or hospital setting Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and protocols Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders Administer oxygen, aerosolized medication, and chest physiotherapy Monitor patients' responses to therapy and document outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment according to established protocols Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures
