Days or Nights Assisting and Caring for Others

• Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients. Documenting/Recording Information
• Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
• Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work
• Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Practices standard precautions and enforces safety regulations according to hospital policies. Interprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responds to all Code Blue emergencies immediately providing CPR according to the American Heart Association and performs other duties as directed. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Associate (Required) Active and Current NBRC License as a Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist through the National Board of Respiratory Care [Required] Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)

• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support
• CPR Cert (BLS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body Proven experience in hospital or clinical respiratory therapy.

Strong knowledge of airway management, ventilator operation, and critical care procedures. Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

ICU or emergency department experience; pediatrics or geriatrics familiarity.'

Pay:

$22.88
