Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with flexible scheduling depending on facility needs
Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid license to practice respiratory care in Florida (or eligibility for reciprocity) Recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist, ideally in an acute care environment BLS and ACLS certifications (required, or willingness to obtain) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures per provider orders Assess and monitor patients with respiratory compromise, adjusting care plans as needed Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and therapies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and facility protocols
