Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with variable scheduling based on department needs
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active and current respiratory therapy license (Georgia or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) a plus Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory therapy devices Provide rapid intervention in emergency situations such as code blues Educate patients and families on respiratory care methods and at-home management Accurately chart therapies and patient responses
