Job Description

Respiratory Care Tech II Northside Hospital United States, Georgia, Canton May 13, 2026 Northside Hospital is award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing. Performs designated duties as a part of the Respiratory Care Department to include: inventory, stocking of respiratory supplies, and cleaning of equipment as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs low-level disinfection on equipment. Assists in inventory of disposable supplies. Transports equipment, specimens, blood, etc., throughout the hospital. Maintains technical training in use of equipment pertinent to specific area. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injuryaccident to Supervisor.
REQUIRED
High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education Six (6) months of healthcare experience or student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program
PREFERRED
Preferred Respiratory Therapy student.
