7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Mon-Fri),12-Hour Night Shifts We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an exciting Acute Care travel opportunity in Lawrenceville, GA. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while providing high-quality respiratory care to patients across multiple acute care settings.
Job Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders Administer respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management Monitor patients receiving mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, and CPAP therapy Respond to emergency respiratory situations and provide critical care support as needed Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies and treatment plans Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and respiratory care standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience within the Acute Care specialty. Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification required BLS Certification from AHA required. ACLS Certification from AHA required PALS Certification required
