Working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist II in this dynamic travel assignment provides immersion into a multidisciplinary environment, especially in critical care settings. Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts: 6:30pm-7:00am Includes one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule
Required Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred) Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory Care Professional (NBRC-RRT, RCP) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (instructor level accepted) NRP certification within 180 days of hire Minimum 6 months' critical care clinical experience Strong skills in assessment, communication, and critical thinking Pediatric, critical care, and emergency department experience required
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, assess, and manage advanced respiratory care in high-acuity settings Perform ventilator management and related therapies (intubation, extubation, trach care) Collaborate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary rounds Educate patients, families, and staff; mentor peers and new team members Ensure accurate documentation, order verification, and adherence to safety protocols Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based initiatives
