Job Description
Respiratory Therapist Shift - Must be flexible Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients across various clinical settings. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes by providing advanced respiratory therapy, managing ventilators, and assessing respiratory function. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, and respiratory function evaluations. Administer respiratory therapy treatments. Manage and monitor ventilators for patients requiring mechanical ventilation. Assist in airway management procedures. Respond promptly to emergency situations involving airway compromise or respiratory distress in hospital medicine and emergency medicine settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, medication administration, and vital signs in compliance with hospital protocols. Requirements RRT or CRTT recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current BLS certification At least 5 years of respiratory care experience.
