Pay Range:

$50•55 per hour Job Description The Respiratory Therapist will manage a high‑acuity caseload in an LTAC setting, providing comprehensive respiratory care to medically complex patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independence, and comfort working with advanced respiratory support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage mechanically ventilated patients using Trilogy EVO ventilators Care for tracheostomy patients Manage high‑flow nasal cannula patients (Airvo) Provide CPAP and BiPAP support Deliver respiratory treatments and inhalation therapy each shift Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications & Skills Competency in ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and non‑invasive ventilation Ability to manage high‑acuity LTAC patients independently Strong assessment and critical‑thinking skills Experience with Trilogy EVO ventilators and Airvo high‑flow systems preferred Required Credentials Iowa RCP License RRT (NBRC) BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Perks & Benefits of Working in Waterloo, IA Waterloo offers a supportive community environment with access to both urban amenities and outdoor recreation.
