Expand your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist in a fast-paced hospital environment that spans adult, pediatric, and NICU patient populations. You'll collaborate with diverse teams and seasoned leaders, gaining exposure to varied workplace practices and advanced technology such as Drager and Hamilton ventilators, as well as modern BiPAP and CPAP devices. This enriching assignment boosts your resume, builds confidence in high-acuity settings, and offers a unique perspective on patient care across multiple units.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts (6:00 - 18:00), self-scheduling with block options Every other weekend required Holiday shifts as needed Department meetings once monthly 1 week of tailored orientation based on experienceDesired Qualifications:
Valid credentials: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CRT or RRT STABLE and NRP certifications required for those handling NICU patients At least 1 year of experience (first-time travelers welcome) Demonstrated NICU experience is essential Comfort floating among ICU, MedSurg, ER, stepdown, and NICU unitsKey Responsibilities:
Draw and analyze ABGs Administer breathing treatments, manage vents, BiPAP, and CPAP Assist with intubations, and potentially place LMA devices Support bedside bronchoscopy procedures Provide team leadership as needed (with experience) Adhere to strict dress code (hunter green scrubs required)Benefits & Perks:
