Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a vital role as a Registered Respiratory Therapist delivering essential respiratory care to patients during the night shift in Des Plaines, IL. This contract position offers a dynamic work schedule, emphasizing flexibility and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory therapy treatments and care for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Perform diagnostic testing and monitor patient progress. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols. Respond promptly to emergencies requiring respiratory intervention.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Current BLS certification required. Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Schedule and Hours:
Night shift. Work every other weekend and every other holiday. Flexible scheduling; no block schedules.
