Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary Coordinates respiratory care to identified patients in designated areas of practice. Utilizes delegation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Job Responsibilities Participates in the communication network with appropriate members of the health care team. Routinely demonstrates leadership capabilities through performance via team leading, prioritizing, delegating and the use of critical thinking. Assumes professional responsibility and accountability for outcomes of respiratory care. Demonstrates the ability to integrate respiratory therapy theory into practice. Demonstrates clinical competency in providing age specific (neonatal - geriatric) respiratory care to patients in designated areas of practice. Qualifications Requirements Education:

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited school of

Respiratory Care Required Experience :

2 - 5 years of experience preferred. Experience with Bronchoscopy, PFT Lab and Therapist Driven Protocols a plus.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)
