Bryant staffing solutions Peoria, IL Job Details Full-time $31.49 - $37.05 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Respiratory Therapy RRT Inpatient Electronic health records (EHR) management BLS Certification Care documentation Basic life support State-specific respiratory therapist license Emergency medicine Managing patient records Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional respiratory care across a variety of inpatient settings. In this role, you will provide evidence-based respiratory therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients while working closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams. Responsibilities Deliver respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based clinical practices. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, specialty gases, and other respiratory treatments. Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation, including advanced ventilation modes. Perform airway management and respond to emergency situations, including Rapid Response and Code Blue events. Assess patient response to therapy and recommend appropriate treatment modifications. Provide respiratory care to patients in: Medical/Surgical Units Intermediate Care Units Intensive Care Units (ICU) Emergency Department Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain respiratory equipment and monitor departmental supplies. QualificationsRequired Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License (or eligible to obtain before orientation for new graduates). Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Basic electronic medical record documentation skills. Experience New graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1+ year of respiratory therapy experience are also encouraged to apply.

$31.49 - $37.05 per hour
