Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to for Robinson, Illinois. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary care to patients of all ages by assessing, treating, and monitoring individuals with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. Working under physician orders and established departmental protocols, the RRT will administer respiratory therapies, perform diagnostic testing, monitor patient responses, and educate patients and families to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Duties Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans based on physician orders. Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, nebulized medications, and airway clearance techniques. Monitor patient responses to treatment through vital signs, arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulse oximetry, and other cardiopulmonary assessments. Administer respiratory medications while monitoring for therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions. Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory care equipment. Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function testing, cardiac monitoring, Holter monitoring, and lung capacity testing. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatment plans, medication use, discharge instructions, and disease management. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and quality assurance checks on respiratory equipment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care. Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards. Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned. Requirements Must Have Recent 1 Year of RRT Experience. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner License . Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC. Current

BLS , ACLS , PALS

, and NRP certifications. Strong knowledge of respiratory medications, cardiopulmonary diagnostics, and respiratory care equipment. AL01
