Job Description

Job Summary:
The location is Springfield, Illinois. This position is for a Respiratory Therapist (Registered) at an acute care facility with a Level I trauma designation. The role involves providing respiratory care in adult critical care and emergency department settings. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois licensure on the first day of the assignment.

Minimum Hours Per Week:
36.0
Required Qualifications:
BLS certification, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, active Illinois license, at least 1 year of relevant experience, Cerner charting experience, and a minimum of 18 months of unit-specific experience if not otherwise specified.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in trauma Level I or Level II settings, hospital emergency department, adult critical care, and prior experience with Cerner.
Float:
Float within scope to meet facility needs may be required.
Additional Information:
Candidates must have current immunizations including the flu vaccine (medical or religious exemptions only). The assignment begins on 07/06/2026, with a schedule of nights working a minimum of 36 hours per week. Requirements include providing 2-3 interview times upon submission, submitting pending references, and ongoing compliance with module completion and licensure requirements.
