Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana. Proven experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory care settings. Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in dynamic clinical scenarios. Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory interventions to patients of varying acuity, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and airway care. Assess, monitor, and document patients' respiratory status and therapeutic response. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans. Participate in emergency response situations, including code blue and rapid response teams. Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment use.
