Job Description

Join Our Team as a PTA in Acute Care Hospital Therapy & Rehabilitation! Are you passionate about making a difference in patients' recovery journeys? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional care in our dynamic acute care hospital setting. What You'll Do:
Deliver high-quality therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care environment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans Provide compassionate patient care, support recovery, and improve mobility and function Work Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts, including at least one weekend per month, and be available to work major holidays as needed
Required Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA in a clinical setting Current BLS certification required Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience working in acute care or hospital settings Familiarity with Cerner charting systems Flexibility and positive attitude in a team-driven environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid in-state licensure for Physical Therapy Assistants (pending licenses are not accepted) Recent experience in short-term acute care facilities is preferred
Other Requirements:
In-state licensure must be in hand prior to submission Willingness to work 2-3 major holidays and weekends to meet patient care needs Travel or reimbursements related to licensure and certifications as applicable

Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours daily (08:00 - 16:30)

Hourly Rate:
$41.10
