The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. PAM Health has over 80 hospital locations and employs over 11,000 people across the country. Our teams work together to deliver the highest level of compassionate care ensuring the best possible outcome for our patients. The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
Education and Training:
Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.Experience:
