Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification Active licensure to practice in Indiana (or willingness to obtain) Proven clinical competence in respiratory therapy with demonstrated knowledge of current best practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Previous travel healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic testing, therapeutic treatments, and monitoring Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized patient care plans Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment Monitor patient progress, document interventions, and adjust treatment as necessary Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care protocols and home management strategies Ensure strict adherence to sterilization procedures and safety protocols
