Respiratory Therapist LTC - Westfield, IN Lincare Holdings United States, Indiana, Westfield Mar 08, 2026 This employee administers respiratory therapy care to long term care residents with abnormalities and deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system according to physician prescription.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review prescription and patient information to assess patient condition and determine requirements for treatment
• Determine suitable treatment administration and modifications that may be needed, compatible with physician orders
• Set up and operate devices including mechanical ventilators, nebulizers, and/or compressors
• Operate equipment to ensure specified parameters of treatment such as volume, oxygen concentration, and/or temperature
• Monitor patient response to therapy via vital sign and blood chemistry changes
• Observe equipment function and adjust equipment to obtain optimal results
• Consult with physician in event of adverse reaction
• Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently
• Order repairs when needed
• Demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees
• Perform staff education at customer facilities
• Perform tracheostomy tube changes
