Qualifications:
Valid and current Respiratory Therapist license (state requirements must be met) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials Recent clinical experience in respiratory care settings, preferably in acute or critical care Proficiency with common respiratory care modalities, ventilators, and equipment BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong communication and teamwork skills Adaptable, with a passion for patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services including assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients Manage and operate ventilators, perform airway management, administer oxygen and other therapies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment usage Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
