Respiratory Therapy HCT seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapy professional to serve as the Interim Director, Pulmondary for a 300+ bed hospital in Massachusetts.
Job Duties:
The Interim Director of Cardiopulmonary Services provides strategic and operational leadership for Respiratory Care and Cardiology Services across a multiple sites. This role is responsible for overseeing departmental operations, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Serves as the operational leader for Respiratory Therapy, Pulmonary Function Testing, Sleep Lab, Blood Gas Lab, EEG Services, Cardiac Sonography, Inpatient Respiratory Services and Emergency Respiratory Services.
Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Respiratory Care required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years' managerial experience; Strong background in Acute Care, Critical Care, Pulmonary Function Testing and Polysomnography. Knowledge of Neonatal Respiratory Care.
License:
Current MA State Respiratory License required
Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, NRP preferred
Computer Skills:
EMR experience and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) Knowledge of current Respiratory Care technologies for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, and their respective applications, is required.
