Key Qualifications:
Valid Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) Current BLS/CPR certification At least one year of recent experience in acute care settings preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new protocols and systems
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective respiratory care, including assessments, treatments, and interventions for diverse patient populations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory plans Monitor patient progress and document all care accurately Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment Respond promptly to emergent situations and assist in airway management as needed
