Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Valid Massachusetts state license or eligibility to obtain one. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Previous experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting preferred. Excellent communication skills, reliability, and adaptability in fast-paced situations.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory care in accordance with physician orders and best clinical practice. Set up, operate, and monitor life-supporting devices and therapeutic procedures. Assess patient respiratory status and recommend adjustments to care plans as needed. Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory wellness. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for comprehensive care.
