Certified Respiratory Therapist Shift - 36hr Rotating shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Respiratory Therapist, where your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and well-being. In this vital role, you will provide specialized respiratory care to diverse patient populations. Duties Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, including vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and lung function tests to determine patient needs. Administer respiratory treatments such as aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, and medication delivery with precision and care. Manage ventilator support for critically ill patients, ensuring proper functioning and timely adjustments. Assist in airway management procedures, including intubation and suctioning, maintaining a focus on patient safety and comfort. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, documenting progress and communicating findings to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's condition. Respond swiftly to emergency situations involving airway compromise or respiratory distress. Qualifications Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist Current BLS certification from AHA At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience.
