1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position (with some night flexibility) at a community hospital in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA license and AHA certifications. Details Day shift hours of 6:00 AM-6:30 PM with flexibility to cover some night shifts Every other weekend required Respiratory Therapy department at a community hospital in Massachusetts 13-week contract Epic EMR used for charting Requirements Active Massachusetts Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted Associate degree or equivalent required BLS certification required from AHA or American Red Cross (AHA preferred) NRP certification required from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AHA preferred) License required if applicable 2 professional references required for consideration Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted Additional Information Administers respiratory therapy treatments to assigned patients and performs various related technical duties Reports to the Clinical Manager of Respiratory Care and operates within established organizational and departmental policies Local candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be placed at a reduced pay rate Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate expense Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
