Desired Qualifications:
Current license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) At least one year of recent respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Experience with ventilator management and advanced respiratory care techniques is a plus
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care interventions to patients in a variety of clinical settings Perform diagnostic tests, evaluate patient response, and modify care plans as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans Document all therapy and procedures accurately in electronic medical records Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment use, and post-discharge care
