Initiate, monitor, and maintain life support systems and mechanical ventilators. Verify physician orders for completeness, including diagnosis, ICD-10 codes , and FiO2​ . Perform airway care, maintenance, and deep tracheal suctioning. Conduct comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments and formulate respiratory care plans. Participate in CPR procedures, including bag ventilation and closed chest massage. Document all treatments, FiO2​ levels, and progress notes accurately in the EMR system. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in Maryland. Registered (RRT) or Certified (CRT) via NBRC. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience under medical direction. Current BCLS certification. High level of clinical knowledge regarding respiratory practice and age-appropriate care. Work Environment Primarily adult and geriatric population within a specialized Vent Unit. Must meet physical requirements, including equipment maintenance and emergency response.
