Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist - MMC BID SAN role performs diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems of patients to aid physicians/advanced practice practitioners in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders. A ssists with administering respiratory care modalities and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiovascular system, under supervision of the physician/advanced practice practitioner. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

Graduate or active enrollment in an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy required .

License/Certifications:

Current applicable state(s) license or student actively pursuing license in Respiratory Care required . NBRC credentialing as an RRT required within one year of eligibility. Current BLS certification required . Current ACLS, PALS and NRP Certifications required or must obtain within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.

Experience:
