Key Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid respiratory care license (or eligibility for licensure) in Michigan BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Previous experience in acute or hospital settings strongly preferred Adaptability and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy treatment and diagnostic procedures per physician orders Assess patient status, modify care plans, and provide patient/family education as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to optimize respiratory care Operate and maintain ventilators and other specialized equipment safely Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
