Job Description

Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your clinical skills and make a meaningful contribution to patient care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; schedule details provided during interview process
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Active Respiratory Therapy license BLS and ACLS certification required Experience working in acute care or hospital settings preferred Strong knowledge of respiratory care equipment and best practices Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and provide respiratory care treatment and life support to patients Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy as ordered Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Monitor and adjust ventilatory support equipment to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of patient therapies, progress, and response to interventions Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care techniques
