Job Description

Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Enhance patient care in a dynamic respiratory therapy role, providing essential support to individuals across a diverse healthcare setting. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist ready to make an immediate impact using advanced clinical skills.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time schedule Shifts may include days, evenings, or nights according to facility needs
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Proven experience in inpatient and emergency care settings preferred Proficiency in respiratory assessments, treatment planning, and ventilator management Ability to administer nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and monitor patient responses Strong knowledge of respiratory equipment, protocols, and infection control standards BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication and documentation abilities Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows and patient needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough respiratory therapy assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual patients Deliver various respiratory treatments, support airway management, and assist with intubations as needed Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate records and contribute detailed reports as part of electronic health documentation Prioritize patient safety and uphold the highest standards of clinical care at all times
