Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Proven clinical experience providing intensive respiratory care, both invasive and non-invasive. Familiarity with ventilatory equipment, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function testing. Experience with tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, chest drainage, and endotracheal tube procedures. Solid knowledge of respiratory-related laboratory policies and testing. Excellent communication and patient education abilities.Schedule:
Travel assignment—flexible duration.Responsibilities:
Deliver effective respiratory treatments and patient transport as prescribed. Evaluate patients, develop and recommend treatment plans. Administer and operate ventilatory, oxygen, and nebulization devices. Conduct chest physiotherapy and airway suctioning. Perform EKGs, pulmonary function studies, and chest x-ray reviews. Provide patient education, particularly upon discharge. Collaborate with physicians, document therapy details, and ensure seamless hand-offs during shift changes. Maintain and ensure equipment functionality. Support preventative maintenance, charging, and accurate record-keeping.Benefits:
