required Patient population: Adults 1-2 yrs ICU experience preferred Prior travel experience EPIC experience Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate respiratory status, vital signs, and oxygenation levels. Administer respiratory therapy treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy. Manage and monitor ventilator support for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, ensuring proper settings and function. Assist with airway management procedures including intubation, extubation, and airway clearance techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in critical care settings such as

ICU, PICU

(Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and trauma centers to develop individualized treatment plans. Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust treatments accordingly, and document all interventions accurately. Support emergency response efforts by providing airway management and ventilatory support during acute events. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology, physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pulmonology principles relevant to respiratory care. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards related to respiratory therapy procedures. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in respiratory medicine and critical care practices. Skills Extensive experience in hospital medicine, critical care environments including ICU, PICU, Level I and Level II trauma centers. Proficiency with ventilator management and airway management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pulmonology, and medical terminology. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently. Experience with medication administration related to respiratory therapy. Familiarity with outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital workflows. Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are preferred. Competence in handling acute care situations within emergency medicine settings. Knowledge of pediatric and geriatric patient needs for tailored respiratory interventions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
