Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (specific hours may vary)Responsibilities:
Deliver intensive respiratory care and perform safe patient transport within scope of licensure Assess, evaluate, and recommend treatment plans Conduct patient education on procedures, equipment, and home care Operate ventilatory, oxygen, and nebulizer devices per prescription Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, 12-Lead EKG, and basic arrhythmia recognition Execute pulmonary function testing and other related procedures (bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, etc.) Ensure thorough documentation, charge entry, and reporting Support equipment maintenance and facilitate seamless shift transitions through hands-off communication Adhere to hospital laboratory and resuscitation policiesQualifications:
Licensed/registered Respiratory Therapist Proven expertise with mechanical ventilation, respiratory assessments, and emergency procedures Familiarity with advanced procedures (bronchoscopy assistance, tracheostomy care, arterial puncture)BLS/ACLS
