Qualifications:
Current RRT credential by NBRC Active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligibility to obtain) Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy Minimum of 1 year recent experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Strong communication and clinical assessment abilities Adaptability to different clinical environments
Responsibilities:
Perform and document all aspects of respiratory care, including mechanical ventilation, aerosol therapy, airway management, and blood gas analysis Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver optimal patient care Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and at-home care techniques Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality initiatives
