Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Experience with adult and pediatric respiratory care (preferred) Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Previous travel or acute care experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy modalities as ordered by physicians Monitor and assess patient response to treatments Educate patients and families regarding care plans Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff Manage emergency situations with a calm, efficient approach Maintain accurate charting and documentation
Schedule/Hours:
Rotating shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
