Sleep Tech(RPSGT)/Respiratory Therapist (RRT,CRT)for Home Medical Equipment

Overview Sleep Solutions Home Medical, a Michigan-based leader in respiratory care for over 25 years, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Sleep Tech/Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical team. This is a full-time, in-person position based out of Grand Rapids location. This role involves providing expert respiratory care, and supporting patients with sleep-related disorders in a home setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of sleep medicine, and the ability to deliver compassionate patient care. Responsibilities:

Provide in-home and office-based setup and education for CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, and non-invasive ventilation (NIV). Educate patients and caregivers on proper use of respiratory equipment. Monitor compliance and ensure therapy effectiveness. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records. Collaborate with physicians and internal staff to ensure exceptional patient care. • Requirements Certification or licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Sleep Tech preferred; relevant experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to respiratory and sleep medicine. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and electronic health records systems. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Prior experience in a sleep center or home medical equipment setting is advantageous but not required. Ability to work independently in a home environment while adhering to safety protocols and clinical guidelines. This role is integral to delivering high-quality respiratory care tailored to individual patient needs within their homes, contributing significantly to their overall well-being and health outcomes.

Pay:

From $58,000.00 per year
