Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your career as a Respiratory Therapist supporting patient care across Intensive Care and General Practice Units. In this contract role, you'll use your clinical skills to deliver life-support, resuscitation, and medical gases therapy while performing both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures. Work under the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and ensure excellent care through effective communication and thorough documentation.
Schedule:
1845-0715 (overnight shift) 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Every other weekend required 13-week contract
Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Minimum 2 years of hands-on respiratory therapy experience Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist Current BLS certification Strong ability to supervise, delegate, and support other therapists, externs, and students Excellent documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory life-support and therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population Perform diagnostic and monitoring procedures as needed on Intensive Care and General Practice Units Ensure accurate documentation of all aspects of patient care and procedures Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams Supervise, orient, and collaborate with other respiratory staff and students Complete and manage all patient billing information in a timely manner Maintain clinical expertise and adapt to assignments at various business units as directed If you possess robust clinical skills and are ready to provide high-quality respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare environment, take the next step in your career.
