Hospital, Critical Rehab Unit, Vented Patient Care Schedule Options Day Shift:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 3x12s, every other weekend required
Night Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 3x12s, every other weekend required Requirements Active MI state Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Inpatient RRT experience required. Current BLS certification required prior to hire. Current ACLS certification required prior to hire. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an immediate opening in an inpatient hospital setting. This is an urgent need for a skilled respiratory professional who is comfortable working with acutely ill patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient respiratory therapy experience and be ready to start as soon as possible. Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed. Manage oxygen therapy and airway support interventions. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes to the care team. Perform respiratory assessments and maintain accurate documentation. Respond to emergency respiratory situations and rapid response events. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
